Shirk is the greatest sin

  To associate the essence or attributes of God with the eternal God is shirk ( Polytheism).  It is shirk to attribute Allah Almighty to . It is shirk to associate someone with Him.  It is shirk to consider someone as his father or son. It is shirk to consider someone as his child.  Before Islam, where the disbelief of the disbelievers was on the rise, the polytheism of the polytheists was also on the rise. People believed in God, but at the same time there was angelism.  There was giantism, somewhere there was astronomy.  The moon and the sun were worshiped, and in the form of gods and goddesses.  In addition to the polytheists, Jews and Christians were also involved in polytheism and Allah has repeatedly invited them in the Holy Qur'an to abandon polytheism and come to the truth.  Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “People have set up partners besides Allaah. Tell them to tell their names or you want to say something which He Himself does not know.  The participants are far from the reality of Allah and follow the thought that comes to their heart

The Qur'an condemns polytheism in sick places because the polytheists have no evidence.

 Almighty Allah says that whoever invokes another deity along with Allah has no proof for it.

  In Surah Yusuf, it is narrated from the tongue of Prophet Yusuf (as) that he said: O companions of the prison!  Decide for yourselves whether many different lords are better or He is the One Almighty.  Other than that, the reality of those whom you worship is nothing but a few names that you and your forefathers have given. Allah has not sent down any authority for them.

   This shows that shirk has no origin, but in another place shirk has been declared a lie.  He said, "Whoever associates partners with God has fabricated a great lie, which is a great sin, but it has also been called a great injustice."  That is why the fate of the polytheists in the Hereafter will be very bad because of this great oppression.  The final abode of the polytheists is Hell and Hell.  Therefore, it is an unforgivable crime because Allah does not forgive anyone who associates anyone with Him.

  Therefore, the Qur'anic teachings require us not to associate with God under any circumstances, so the nations of the world should repent from polytheism in which polytheism still exists today.

  O Jews and Christians!  It is still better for you to abandon what you associate with Him and become a fan of the One God, and to repent from polytheism forever.
